Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Sarobitech (“we”, “us”, “our”), the publisher of City Hopper (the “Game”). By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Who can play

The Game is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download, install and play the Game on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, lend, distribute, modify, translate, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Game, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction.

3. Google sign-in and your account

• Signing in with Google is optional. It creates a City Hopper account that saves your progress online so you can restore it on another device.
• You are responsible for your Google account and for activity in the Game while you are signed in on your device.
• If you play without signing in, your progress is stored only on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the Game, clear its data or change devices. We cannot restore it.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time, as described on our account deletion page.

4. Coins and virtual items

• The Game contains virtual coins, which you earn by playing and by watching rewarded ads, and virtual items, such as characters and pogo sticks, which you can unlock with coins.
• The Game has no in-app purchases. Coins and virtual items cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, transferred or redeemed for real money, goods or anything of value, and they are not your property: you have a limited licence to use them in the Game only.
• We may change how coins and items are earned, priced or used, for example to balance the Game.
• Coins, items and progress may be lost if your account is deleted, if you play without signing in and your device data is removed, or if we find they were obtained in breach of these Terms. They have no cash value, so no refund or compensation is due for them.

5. Rewarded ads

The Game lets you choose to watch an ad in exchange for the in-game reward shown on the offer. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. The reward is given only after the ad is watched to the end, and ads may not always be available. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for any products, services or websites they promote.

6. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

• cheat, including by using modified versions of the Game, bots, or tools that alter game data, scores, coins or items;
• tamper with, or send false data to, the Game’s online services or saved progress, or try to access another player’s account or data;
• exploit bugs or errors instead of reporting them to us;
• interfere with or disrupt the Game, its servers or its ads, including by generating fake ad views or clicks; or
• use the Game for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.

7. Ownership

The Game and everything in it, including its code, artwork, characters, sounds, music, text, logos and the “City Hopper” name, are owned by Sarobitech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence in section 2, these Terms do not give you any rights to them.

8. Third-party services

The Game is distributed through Google Play and uses services provided by Google, including Google sign-in, Firebase and Google AdMob. Your use of those services is also subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Game.

9. Updates and availability

We may update the Game, add or remove content or features, or stop offering the Game or its online services, at any time and without liability to you. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We do not promise that the Game or its online features will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

10. Ending these Terms

You can stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access to the Game or its online features if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we are required to by law. Sections 4, 7 and 11 to 14 continue to apply after these Terms end.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sarobitech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Game. Because the Game is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Game is limited to INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any legal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Game.

14. General

• Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the Game or on its Google Play listing. If you keep playing after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Game.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example if the Game changes hands.
